In part two of our “In a Furry World” series, we talk about what transportation would be like if everyone was an anthropomorphic animal. We cover everything from cars, to planes, to boats, and ponder the merits of installing lights on flying animals. A dragon taxi service also gets honorable mention.

Hey, here’s a cookie! ^A^ <=[not sure if this happy wolf face will catch on]
This show is pretty pawesome and I'm slowly but surely watching all of them. I was wondering if you ever watched Shark Tale? To me, that was probably the best example of what an anthro world would look like (even though it only included fish). You have a mixture of technology (whale wash, stop lights, sound systems) mixed with what each fish was good at (big fish=taxis, whales=semi trucks, dolphins=police officers). If there are any other movies that have a cool anthro world similar to Shark Tale, please tell me.
When thinking about these worlds, I believe that anything that is made sentient would ultimately develop the same aspects we do including the negative side. Nothing like a cold war between wolves and polar bears to say the least. *sigh* Prime example of this idea is the Narnia books by C.S. Lewis.
Keep up the good work

Spongebob comes to mind for aquatic-based anthros 😀
and disney’s robin hood for land anthros
also, i heard about this: http://blogs.scientificamerican.com/observations/2011/09/12/jellyfish-genes-make-glow-in-the-dark-cats/ so imagine how that would go over in a furry world 😀
It is always better to forget Spongebob ever existed.
can’t really say anything against that… xP
