The original dynamite was used to level hills and mountains for the railroad and mining. It was a stable explosive that saved several lives from accidentally triggered explosions. Others turned it into a weapon of war and terrorism.
Funny how folks love to make weapons to keep people safe, which in turn makes others unsafe which makes them make weapons to keep themselves safe… etc.
Yep, that’s life. Guns were used to protect people from the wild, but they can cause people to go wild, to use them to kill people, which has got some people to get guns to protect themselves from the wild (people)…etc.
Eh, I’ve never really known of a gun itself making someone wild 😉 From what I can tell most cases of gun violence would still happen without guns, just, guns wouldn’t be used >.<
True. But weapons in general. A gun, a knife, whatever it may be, by itself doesn’t hurt or kill people. It’s when it’s wielded or used or activated that violence/death happens. Defintiely reminds me of the Butter Battle Book by Doctor Suess. Better weapons produce better defenses, which promotes better weapons, etc.
