Great episode.
(Beside the main point), I guess I’m the only other one that loves fish! (GO ROBIN!)
As TO the main point, I’ve tried my best not to gossip, nor to even listen to it as I fear it may alter my thoughts toward a person unwittingly. I try and base any assessment on that person themselves…not as others may see them. I know that gossip can be harmful, even unintentionally. I fell I would probably defend a person from gossip.
I never thought about gossip disguised as prayer requests, but I can sort of see why others would do it (as if to make themselves sound better because they brought up the other person for prayer (supposedly)). But that seems almost worse than regular gossip as it would be hypocritical.
