hey, guys, gotta say, you guys really turned up the facepaw rate in this episode xD
but anyway, as you probably know, i post only on dA because i have only dA. it keeps me busy enough, and i don’t want to make another account and double up everything 😛 i’m not saying the place is perfect, files are a nightmare, catagorizing is horrible, they want all your money., etc, but it’s where i got my first and only account, so i’m just living with it.
i guess a *perfect* furry site for me would be similar to deviantArt since i’ve been using it forever, but definitely more furry and family based than it is currently. and cut out file restrictions and ultra-fine catagorizing, because that’s just a pain.
…
i like trains.
I 100% agree with ya there my friend.
you like trains too?! ;D
Lol not what I meant lol xD, but you know that 😛
I normally only put my art on DA ( http://rebel-rider.deviantart.com/ ) and on Levi’s forum. Since I’m not a furry, I don’t post on FA or any furry-specific art sites. I do draw animals and anthro alien type stuff, so I do end up attracting a lot of furries.
For me, I don’t actually want critique on my art, mainly because I always see problems with it and feel like it should be better. When it comes to writing, I generally like critique.
I don’t mind DeviantART’s way of trying to get money out of people since it’s still extremely user-friendly even for people who haven’t given them money.
When it comes to the nasty underbelly, I just avoid art marked “mature” and try not to associate too much with people who spout profanity. (I’ve had to hide some comments before and there are a few of my watchers that I think may be a bit immoral.) Still, there are a lot of friendly people on there and I really enjoy the good side of DeviantART.
