I do roleplay some. But it’s usually just one-on-one, maybe with a few people, but with too many people, I end up feeling I get “lost in the crowd”.
My main type of roleplaying is with Doctor Who-type scenario.
I only started roleplaying last october.
One of my friend invited me to a small forum she knew for a long time that was just starting anew. I jumped on the occasion and I really got implicated in the story renewal. It’s been a great experience so far.
I think the most exciting part of RP is when you wait for the other participants to write you back and finally see what they come up with. It’s a bit like those “be the hero” books where something inexpected can happen at any given time.
Another good aspect of it is when you get progressively more attached to your character and wanna see him evolve. You will more or less naturally developp his backstory, his temper and gradually he really becomes a part of you.
I roleplay in just about every way I can XD there’s actually a role play site for my Fine Arts Club, and I’ve driven all my friends crazy with furries and being a taur more than once XD We’ve been in Ender’s Game crosses Sky High scenarios, on a deserted island, with knights and witches and warlocks, plenty of crazy places. Not all at once, though.
And i’m one of those guilty people who doesn’t use the /me because i got too used to using asterisks on other sites XP
You’re a taur? I had no idea.
