There are no toll roads in Montana, as far as I know. We experienced toll roads in Florida and ended up going through the exact change booth, not realizing that, “exact change” means no dollar bills. We were in a panic trying to figure out what to do and Mom sent me to the next toll booth with a person to ask for change. He just waved us on. We never got arrested.
I kind of like the idea of toll roads, even if they are inconvenient, since it does seem like a good way to get tax dollars for roads. (The roads in Florida are a lot better than those in Montana.)
Here in Montana, we end up having to pay a gas tax, which sort of works, but our roads are still bad, probably due to politics. (They take all the money from eastern Montana and use it in western Montana where the government is based.
We have a road to town that has no signs for the bumps and some are really bad. (There are too many to put signs up for.) The best way to find them is to look for the black marks of the other vehicles that go over the huge bump. At one time, the bumps were bad enough you could pick up quite a bit of stuff that had bounced out of vehicles. (It’s improved a little since then but not much.)
You didn’t spell his name correctly. No prize for you!
