What is suitable furry attire? By and large it is clothing-optional, but sometimes accessories work “just so” for characters. Meanwhile in the real world, a group of mangy mutts talks dressing up and looking good for various events and discusses what makes the best wardrobe. All in all, it’s a scary episode.

I feel that Levi would find my day to day clothing choices far too casual! Shorts and t-shirt in summer (Johannesburg is hot!), even to work. Working in the animation/design space is super casual. I’ve only ever had to dress up for meetings at ad agency’s. I prefer winter because i love wearing long pants (jeans) and collared shirts over a casual tee.
My characters tend to reflect my style of dress.
A wild Tim has appeared!
Le gasp! Late to the party as usual, but enjoying the podcast!
Since I was homeschooled and I live on a ranch, I never really “learned” how to dress up. This has led to a fair amount of stress when I go to a writer’s conference because I get worried I’m not dressed right. (I believe I have fashion dyslexia.) I don’t really like the idea of having to dress up since it can stress me out and I have trouble telling what “class” a person is by their clothing. Plus, I don’t have any business clothing, and it’s almost hard to get much for business casual from my closet.
I don’t wear shorts in public. Most of this is because there are only a few weeks in the summer that are warm enough to wear shorts. Secondly, since I don’t wear shorts, my legs are VERY white.
When I go out in public, I basically try to wear clothing that’s clean and not full of holes. (Unless I go to a branding where you’re guaranteed to get dirty if you work, and the clothes are often damaged, in which case I will wear dirty or old clothing.)
The library doesn’t have much of a dress code and our official “uniforms” are summer reading T-shirts.
For my aliens, most of which look like anthropomorphic animals, I go with different styles depending on the species. I also like seeing if I can get colors to blend well. (With my fashion issues, I’m not very good at getting it to look cool.) I do have one species that goes for tight clothing, not immodest, but tight. (They’re a flying squirrel like species and anything loose would snag in trees.)
