Do you support your local library? We here at WagzTail do… sometimes. In this exciting episode, the Wagz crew waxes nostalgic about card catalogues and the Dewey decimal system and speculates on the future of this once-illustrious institution.
This one’s a real page-turner!

The library here is so small…though they just went into a newer bigger building. But, as this is a very small town, they didn’t have a very big selection of books that interested me, to be honest. I remember going to the libraries in school and loving them, helping out a few times when I could.
And, being a greymuzzle, I remember the card catalogs (well before there were PCs) and looking through them to find what I needed and am (somewhat still) familiar with the Dewey Decimal System, so I now what books are where, for the most part (depending on the layout of the library).
